James was born in Stoke-On-Trent and trained at the London Centre for Theatre Studies. He is an experienced actor who has worked consistently in theatre, including; “Measure For Measure” and “Richard II” (Demi-Paradise Productions), “Around The World in 80 Days” (Vienna’s English Theatre), “Much Ado About Nothing” (Midsommer Actors), “The Wind In the Willows” and “School for Wives” (Channel Theatre Company), “Dial M For Murder” (Middle Ground Theatre), “The Tempest” (Chalkfoot Theatre Arts), “Blithe Spirit” (Vienna’s English Theatre) and most recently "Billy Liar" (Middle Ground Theatre Company). James’ screen appearances include; “Weekend Stories” (WDR), “Big Meg Little Meg” (Granada TV), “Casualty” (BBC TV) and “Love Lies Bleeding” (Granada TV). James has also been involved in various corporate projects including Cragrats and Royal Bank Of Scotland.
